Beach Cleanup with Ajman Football Club

Did you know that cigarette butts have plastic in them?

Did you know that they're the most littered items on the world's beaches?

There are 5.25 trillion pieces of plastic waste estimated to be in our oceans. 269,000 tons float, 4 billion microfibers per km² dwell below the surface, 70% of our debris sinks into the ocean's ecosystem, 15% floats, and 15% lands on our beaches. Let's help clean some of it!

Local municipalities, waste management companies and the awesome humans they employ are working diligently to keep our beaches and public amenities clean but, there's nothing like the look on the face of a smoker or a person who litters, when we pick up their trash right in front of their eyes.

By enrolling in this activity you become a member with our organization for one year. Ajman Football Club will be sponsoring your membership with us, facilitating our work together to raise awareness on our environmental responsibility.
